| Which burning programs support burning dual-layer discs? I was going to go buy a dual-layer DVD-R drive. But I was curious to know first which programs support burning dual-layer discs? Rather than go out and buy it and find that almost nothing out there supports the media. Can anyone enlighten me? |

| Re: Which burning programs support burning dual-layer discs? Hi MrEastSide, Do you mean backing up game dvds or movie dvds or just creating them? If you wish to backup games or movies BlindWrite 5 or CloneCD would be a good option for backing up games, and AnyDVD combined with CloneDVD2 would be a good choice for backing up DVDs. Nero6 would be a good option for creating DL discs. Good luck.

| Re: Which burning programs support burning dual-layer discs? Yeah I was talking about copying movies. I wasn't sure which programs supported burning dual-layer discs. I have a DVD+RW drive right now but wanted to get a dual-layer drive. Just wasn't sure which programs supported using dual-layer media yet. |

| Re: Which burning programs support burning dual-layer discs? Ok, as i said CloneDVD2 with AnyDVD is a good combination, but if you are looking for a freeware option DVD Decrypter and Dvd Shrink would be a good one.

| Re: Which burning programs support burning dual-layer discs? Hi, Vso's CopyToDVD is tuned to support dual-layer discs really really well for both data and video DVD's, This is one program that I can deffiently recommned as an all round program. As mentioned CloneDVD and DVD Decrypter are also able to burn dual-layer and are very very capable of movie backups. Cheers PeebZ |
