Re: Burning You need to convert them to dvd video format. There are lots of different programs that can do this. ConvertXtoDVD is a popular commercial program for this process. Two free ones I can recommend are DVDFlick and FAVC. This is the homepage for FAVC: http://favcfavc.googlepages.com/ Make sure you have Net2.0 and AviSynth installed first (there are links to both at the FAVC homepage) Here is DVDFlick: http://www.dvdflick.net/ Both of these will give you a finished dvd with menu if you want one. Burn to disk with your preferred burning program. I recommend ImgBurn, which is also free.

Re: Burning If you have the full version of Nero Burning Suite, you can convert with Nero Vision, then burn to disk. I don't like Nero for conversions personally, but it can be done. Try one of the free ones I recommended.

Re: Burning Hmm, don't know what is going on there. Open it with MediaInfo or Gspot and tell us what it says about your .wmv file. http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ You can try other converters, but these two will get you all the way to a finished dvd, while most others will just convert to mpeg2 that you have to author to dvd format.

Re: Burning That could be a real problem if the converters can't recognize the video codec. My only suggestion is to try other converters. SUPER can convert .wmv to mpeg2 for you. Then run it through DVDStyler to get to dvd format. Another possibility is WinFF. Have you tried FAVC yet?
