Backing up your VHS movies to DVD

Hello. I was interested in backing up my old Disney movies to DVD. I bought a lot of them for my kids when they were small and now before I know it I will have grand children. I would like to preserve those classics. I have looked at an item here: http://www.dimax.com.ua/dvd/dvdredpro.shtml
I was wondering if anyone has actually used this item and if it is worth purchasing. Is the sound and picture quality any good?
Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
