| Audio/video synch problem w/Philips DVP642 I had a copy of the movie Gladiator on my HDD that I made from the original dvd (just in case because I gave the original to a friend). Hadn't thought about it for a year or so but had some friends over who wanted to see it so I burned it to a dvd using Nero 7. The ripped files play fine on the 'puter, the disc plays fine in the dvd writer on my computer, BUT when I put it in the standalone unit, the audio is off by at least 2 seconds. Spoke with customer service at Philips, but they weren't helpful at all. So I turn to the experts Is this something common to the 642 (like having to hit the Setup menu button twice to get rid of pixilation) or another issue? TIA. |
