you could always try it out on a CDRW and see if you can actually burn it...

This game has actually been covered before on this forum, There is a search button up in the right hand corner.

I was able to sucessfully make a backup copy of Aoe2 with a sony crx140e/ch drive. I also made copy with a plextor drive to/.

Just try the fast error skip.

Does your writer support any raw burning mode? Use nero's info tool to check. If it does you can copy this game easily (it's safedisc 1) with other software even if your writer is not supported by clonecd.

JohnBoy, your writer does have raw burning modes. If clonecd isn't working for you, use blindwrite. Read using nibble mode (be warned that this will take a while as there are more than 800 bad sectors in the first 10,000) and write using dao pq (dao16) which is supported by your writer. You shouldn't have any problems. Good luck.

So are you saying to read the cd with the burner, or with the Sony cdrom?

Either, though I suspect that your burner may get through the bad sectors a little faster than your cdrom. Then again, maybe not.

Either way, it will take quite a while since I don't think either of your roms is noted as being a particularly fast safedisc ripper.
