| 52x Write For 48x Media Using 52x Drive Hello guys! my friend who has latest Liteon 52x drive tells me that he writes music cds or video cds at 52x using 48x media ( i think he uses samsung ) . is it possible to do this way? if yes, tell me the way to write 52x with my 48x drive? don`t you think that 7200KB/SEC ( 48X ) requires good 7200rpm drive? Arun

| It is possible when the drive thinks it's suitable for 52x writing. You will need a writer that is capable of writing 52x of course  This can depend on the firmware , which checks if the inserted disc is certified for 52x , or to disable this particular check and "just go for it". |
