MIT and MIM = Daxon

MIJ = Taiyo Yuden

Hey negritude,

What are my chances of finding MIJ Sony CDs? Slim to none?

Thanks

Regular Sony CD-Rs: no chance
Sony Audio CD-Rs: big chance

Very high in the U.S. I think.

Look for Sony Audio CD-Rs usually in 30 packs or more, check the label for things like "For use with Sony Walkman" and most importantly "MADE IN JAPAN."

That pretty much guarantees Tayio Yuden. I was in the 'States for a bit last month, got a 30 spindle for IIRC twelve bucks.
