Hi and welcome to CDF. This is the bargain basement, these questions would be better suited in a sub forum that discusses these things. Like the DVD Media forum.

Re: What Kind of dvd use

The Video DVDs and Game DVDs you can buy are produced in a pressing factory - not by burning recordable DVD media.

So you cannot make such discs yourself.

Most drives will read and play good quality recordable DVDs that have been recorded at a reasonable speed in a compatible DVD burner using a program that writes in the proper format. The biggest exception are for games and software using copy-protection, which can be difficult or impossible to copy correctly to recordable DVD media.

Re: What Kind of dvd use

Moved to Blank Media forum.

Commercial DVDs are pressed like CDs and not the recordable kind you can buy.

Edit: Ooops Dragemester got there first
