| Dye Type 0-9... What's the difference, Percisely.. well, maybe u'll find this question silly somehow... but i really have to know... i prefer using Cyanine or Azo Media cuz i mostly use them for copying my Audio CDs... but well, when i see on CD Speed a Long Strategy Dye Type 0 or Dye Type 4.... well, i don't know, but i feel more comfortable with the lower Dye Type Numbers 0,1 and 2 (supplied by The Old Verbatim Disks, Verbatim Metal AZO, VerbatimSuper AZO+Crystal Surface) while i find it harder to believe that the SKC Cyanine DT4 or The LG Cyanine DT3 are Really Long Range Strategy!! and don't tell me about compatibility with my CD Writer, cuz i havent got mine tell 2months... i've been copying backups of my CDs for 5 years on various Writers.. Teac, LG's , AOpen, Mitsumi and Asus.. and now on my Lite-on LTR-52x32x52... what i need is a difinition of the Dye Type Numbers, and the differences between them if any (and of course there are)... please, i need an answer thanx ![]() |

| Re: Dye Type 0-9... What's the difference, Percisely.. hi, well, guys, the subject in the former website was not really enough to determine what's good and what sucks, and the list of manufacturers was not yet complete, though it did clarify some basics of the Dye "thing".. so, i hope if anybody has anything better than cdmedia world's site.. PLEAAAAaSE HELP H.Q. |
