I'm a newbie at this sorta thing, and I'm trying to find some decent CD-R's to buy. I'll be using them for trading audio shows with people, so they have to work in lots of different players. I am planning to buy from this site:

However if anyone knows of a better (cheaper) site that ships to UK, please let me know.

Anyway, I was looking over the CD-R's they have, and I heard that TDK were a good brand to use. Is this true? If so, would you recommend these:

TDK Metallic 80min/700mb 40x - Spindle Tub, 23p per CD.

Also, I have heard some good things about Taiyo Yuden. So I was looking at these:

Taiyo Yuden Unbranded 48x 80min/700mb - Bulk Wrapped, 22p per CD.

However I have heard that the quality of the TY CD's has gone down recently, so I was wondering whether to get them or not.

OR! Any of the other CD-R brands on that site. Which would you recommend? I have been using Packard Bell CD-R's, but I'm sure they are far from the best adn was lookign for some different brands.

So you would say go with the TY CD's? I read in a thread here that they seemed to be getting worse, but I wasn't sure if they came to that conclusion or not (it all got too technical for me).

If they are still good CD's, then I shall get some in!
