Has anyone experienced problems using premire or studio7 after updating to the sp1 from microsoft?...I am reinstalling windows now. It has been a while since i used studio, i dont remember it giving me any problems. My captured videos hang when i play them...not the same spot every time either. oh well, gonna see in a bit.

I have no problems capturing with my Sony TRV-27 and Adobe Premiere...

reinstalled windows...no updates at all.
installed studio 7 and tested by capturing and making a quick avi movie.... no probs....
updated windows using the network sp1 patch...(the one you can save to your computer so you don't have to keep downloading it)...
same problems from before...hangs on captured video playback as well as a rendered movie from the raw capture.
uninstalled the sp and retested....no probs any more.
might be the network version, but i don't think so. it is supposed to look at your computer just like the express version does to see what it needs to update, so i just dont think i will use the sp just yet....
