What's the easiest fastest way to transfer quick time videos to dvd?

I have a Lite-On dual media 4x dvd-r and nero 6 ultra. I have some photoshop training CD's that are full of quick time videos. The problem is the front end software for the discs SUCKS. I would rather watch these on my tv so I can follow along on my computer (the front end software causes crashes if you try to use other programs at the same time and the fast forward and rewind doesn't work at all).

I would like to know what'st he easiest way to watch these videos on my stand alone dvd player on my tv, the fastest easiest way to convert and transfer them using just nero and other FREE software if necessary.

Also if I wanted to put more effort in and make menus for the different lessons how would I go about that? Thanks.

There is a Quicktime pluggin for TMPGEnc, get both from doom9.net download section. Encode each mov to a dvd compliant mpg ( abit rate of 4000 would be fine) then load them all into DVDLab (free demo from their homepage) and set up a menu and author. Burn out the vob files with Nero.
