Hello, I been using VirtualDub filters I got nice results with avi files, I wonder if I can use then with VOB/MPEG-2 too, I know there is a version of VirtualDub that allows working with DVD files, but it outputs as AVI and I would like save them in the original format.

I haven't heard of anything for filtering mpeg files, but I don't work with mpeg much. You may want to search at www.videohelp.com

If you have the pro version of DVDRebuilder, you can use AviSynth filters in it combined with the HC encoder or CCE. I've only done one test encoding with the free version of Rebuilder, so I don't know if it has this capability or not, but I doubt it. Go to doom9.org forum and look at the subforum for DVDRebuilder for more information.

I rarely use filters, and since I'm inherently lazy , I have used the built-in filters that come with ProCoder rather than learn a great deal about AviSynth scripts and filters. ProCoder is convenient, but expensive.
