| Re: Trouble with TMPGEnc - missing last 20 minutes I don't think TmpgEnc is the problem, the SOURCE is the problem. Demux it and try encoding/transcoding again.

| Re: Trouble with TMPGEnc - missing last 20 minutes no, can't be...the .avi file is fine, plays all the way through. DVD2SVCD makes the vob files as well as the pulldown encoded, both of these are fine all the way through, it's only when I try to author it with TMPGEnc to add a menu that I loose the last 20 minutes |

| Re: Trouble with TMPGEnc - missing last 20 minutes Sorry, can I ask you a little clarification? I used DVD2SVCD (not latest version), but how do you obtain VOB files with it? Another thing: When you say "author with TMPGEnc", do you mean TMPGEnc itself or TMPGEnc DVD Author? |

| Re: Trouble with TMPGEnc - missing last 20 minutes So are you inputting the vobs into Tmpgenc DVD Author? If you are then I wouldn't. I'd add the mpv & audio file (encoded mp2? or extracted ac3) into tmpgenc & author these. |

| Re: Trouble with TMPGEnc - missing last 20 minutes I'm using TMPGEnc since a few years now and never had such a problem you described. Use the built in MPEG tools to demux and check the sourc. If it's mpeg1/4, then use VirtualDub/nandub to check the source for errors, especially the audio stream.
