A bit more info on your system (OS etc) would be more helpful

Furthermore, this is not really a topic for the Audio forum, but for our Divx and Video editing forum, topic moved (polease keep this in mind for future reference, saves me time that is better spent on other matters)

The problem will not be with TMPGenc but with the AVI itself.

I would always suggest you rip out the audio from the AVI with VirtualDUB first (GSpot will tell you what sort of audio it is) and encode using that as audio source. HAve a read of the AVI to VCD Tutorial to tell you how to do all that. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....threadid=59488

Read all about it at their home page http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

Its basically a programs that checks the video and audio streams on an AVI and tells you what they are and if you have them installed on your system or not. Thats all.
