SVCD Creation With Nero Burning ROM. - Club CDFreaks

I have the SVCD Plugin for Nero, I have never ever created
an SVCD, my question is:

How do I create a working/fully playable SVCD from a DivX
.avi?

If I use 700 meg CDRs, how many CDRs would I need to
create an SVCD of the highest quality from a 550 meg DivX
.avi? How do I calculate and divide/cut the movie?

select new
create svcd
drag the divx file into the svcd window
burn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

takes about 4 hrs to re-encode on a fast pc
does it all as part of the burn.

plays in power dvd, not in zoom player or media player
i don't have a standalone svcd player to try the cd on
but quality looks good in power dvd

So Nero encode mpeg 4 back to mpeg 2? I''ll try that out thankx..

Works fine! Doesn't takes so much time, about 1,5 hours on a 1,6 Ghz machine!
