Video Edit Software Discuss, Super slow TMPGEnc help! at International Chat: Software related forum; Howcome it takes 3 hours just to change an AVI movie which is only 700 mbs into mpg? I tried some other programs and it takes around 2 hours.... Why is it so slow? HELP

Super slow TMPGEnc help!

Howcome it takes 3 hours just to change an AVI movie which is only 700 mbs into mpg? I tried some other programs and it takes around 2 hours.... Why is it so slow? HELP

Because it's a complex process and some applications does it better and others don't.

hmmm TMPGenc doesn't work here.
make sure you have installed the divx codecs
and then you can make a mpeg file of you avi file with mainconcept mpgencoder. works perfect here
