Subbing Ong Bak

Hello everyone! I'm new to video editing and am sort of short on time so, I would like to request the knowledge of yourselves. I am currently trying to subtitle the movie Ong Bak : Muay Thai Warrior. I have the subtitles, but can only seem to use them when watching the movie on my computer, I am not able to permanently stick them to the video, despite my efforts. I have downloaded alot of programs sofar, I will list them below, so that you may have an easier time helping me. I currently have the following.

Subtitle Workshop 251
IfoEdit0971
Avi Calculator
TMPGEnc-3.524.63.181
DVDSuptools1.6
besweet v1.4
besliced v0.2
adobe premiere v6.0
CCE
vobsub
gspot
PulldownUI
AviSynth 2.5

and I have all the necessary codecs and media players.
I also have
Nero (newest)
and ULead for burning.

please help, thanks! ^^::
