| Soft Encode AC3 problem... I just loaded a .wav file, that was coverted from MP3 in Sound Forge, into Soft Encode and it sounds like Pinky and Perky on Speed!!! I saved the file as 48K in sound forge, should it be 41K before conversion? Anyone else had this problem, and a solution please? Thx. |

| It sounds to me like Sound Forge isn't saving the file in the correct format, but rather with some form of compression. When you save the file, ensure you're saving it as: "Type: Microsoft Wave" "Format: PCM" "Attributes: 48,000 Hz, 16 bit, stereo" and you shouldn't have any problems when encoding with Soft Encode |

| Use ffMPEG and it will convert your MP3 directly to an AC3 file and convert 44.1 to 48khz as well. Its freeware & you can get it from http://www.dvdrhelp.com/tools.php?tool=434
