| The real DivX Remember the real Divx, Digital Video eXpress? The DVD like format that used to be sold out of Circuit City a few years ago. I actually think that system might not have been all that bad, but public opinion killed it. Now it seems to me that the prices of DVD titles are getting more and more expensive and a limited viewing 'rental' system like Divx might have been OK, even if only to keep DVD prices in check. Of course you can go to the video store and rent a DVD, but that's another point. |
