PROBLEMS with the DIVX To DVD-R GUIDE - Audio, subs and Author Help its needed !!!!!

Im using the Divx 2 DVD-R to convert all my movies of my collection. I found some problems that are not treated by the guide chikman wrote even when this is the best guide i have come to, and the only one it gave me good results.

The problems are.

--- AUDIO ---
1.- chikman have mentioned before that its better to Extract the audio in vdub because some times dvd2svcd encounter problems and cut the audio, ok, if this is the case, i open vdub, open the avi and got the improper sh1t error, i select full processing mode, no compresion pcm, and save wav. its the audio is in 44.1 i need to convert to 48? and its in 44.1 its need to be like this? because in other guides peoples said the we must downsampling the audio to 44.1 to avoid a/v sync. ok explain this better please. Also if we extract an mp3 from an avi in nandub we just get a little 20kb aprox audio file, nandub just dont like this.

So when we got the .wav what we need to do with this? we need to mux again to the avi? or we just create an avi that is double sized cause it contain the wav - for this do the procedure i mentioned but in video select direct stream copy and instead of save wav, choose save avi...
Remember that in dvd2svcd we cant add an avi and a audio file, so its need to be just single file. again, the audio must be in 44 or 48? -- And its the audio in the avi its an ac3 which its the procedure?

chikman said that bbMPG its not used so leave this options like this, but the true is that bbmpg runs at last and mux for you in a .mpg the video and the audio. you got then an file that could be authored in ulead perfectly. i already did this and its work great. but like this runs what its the proper config then? i just tend to change the SVCD select option to DVD in bmpeg config. am i right ? if this is dont needed how to disable it?

--- SUBS ---

Can you change the font, or size for subs when adding external stream subs?

--- AUTHOR ---
chikman said to take the Pulldown encoded video and add this to movie in spruceup, also it takes a longgg time, and it have NO sound in there what its wrong here? did we need the mpg that bbmpg did and that chikman said its not needed? its really confusing, sorry... in ulead you could take this mpg file and make the dvdcompliant folders - remember to select Do not convert Mpeg compliant ... but i dont like this much, the audio created its not LPCM, just mpeg.. i dont know if this audio is dvd-hardware player compatible, so i prefer to be safe and do it exactly as chikman did. in ulead you could also add the mpv and the audio as separate files, but not the wav, just the mpa, the result its a quality loss in audio. so i think spruceup its better, but how to put audio in there? what its wrong?....

chikman your help its apreciatted, if you could explain all this questions ... you just have the best, and the only working divx-dvd-r guide out there...please, thxs in advance...
