problem with Tmpegenc need some help please..

Ok i have been using Beyond Tv with hauppaugge Pvr 150 and have been recording tv shows and using Tmpegenc dvd author to cut the commercials and author and burn my shows to a disk and have done it about 20 times and it has worked perfectly up to a couple of days ago. i record a Tv show with Beyond Tv and it says it saves it as a MPEG file and when i go to author it in TMPEGEnc i open the show and i get " Illegial video error ". i cannot for the life of me figure it out. in the past week the only thing i can think that changed was i was using a trial of Nero digital and it expired and i though maybe the codec isnt working but i bought it and renewed it and still will not work.
the only other thing i can think of is Beyond Tv got changed and is not saving the shows in MPEG format. or is it back to Nero expiring and i no longer have the required codec needed. i dont know at this point.

i really liked Tmpegenc it was easy to use fast and great qaulity
is there something i am missing ?

If your trial with nero damaged something on your system, then you can try to uninstall nero completely using cleaning tool from nero site to remove surely all stuff. If problem persists, try to uninstall TMPEGEnc and reinstall to restore all properly.

Hope this can help

Try to open your MPEG file with VirtualDubMod and check file for errors. Maybe your problem is on file, and not on software.

ill try this i am open to anything however every recording i do now gives that error since i have discovered the problem i have tried recording 5 different shows with all the same results in the end "illegal video error".

i think i am just going to reformat and start from scratch maybe there is some issue with my OS and hard drive.

Uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing the problematic software would be an much easier way.
