Good.

But, I just need to capture in real-time PAL 25fps - MPEG-1 352x288.

Am also able to capture PAL - 25fps - MPEG2 @ 640x480 on probs on a PIII

Its just the problem with those MPEGs.

Well the specs of my PCTV pro card (Pinnacle) suggest that a P3 700 minimum is needed for mpeg1 352x288 s/w captures. Though the pinnacle mpeg1 codec isn't that flash so I'm led to believe! I''ve got fairly similar specs to you, AVI 640x480 is fine hence why I use TmpgEnc. Surprised about the mpeg 2 results you have!
