I have this issue as I am British, living in Canada, and find that avoiding the switch between PAL and NTSC is easiest. I have a DVD player (not even an expensive one) that will allow playing both formats. I usually just burn a copy of the PAL DVD with Any DVD and Clone DVD to remove the regional coding, and then play like normal. This seems much more reliable than conversion for me. | |

I started with a PAL region 2 DVD and tried to convert it to a NTSC region free version I got this far..... I have used DVD Decrypter to create a region free DVD. I used Magic DVD Ripper to convert the DVD into an MPEG-2 folder on my hard drive. I opened Nero and chose DVD-Video I clicked on More I clicked on Video Option I clicked United States NTSC I then had a choice between... CAPTURE VIDEO ADD VIDEO FILES MAKE MOVIE MAKE SLIDE SHOW IMPORT AVCHD IMPORT DISC ....and I am blowed if I know what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. | |
