| PAL to NTSC? I just found out by reading comments that a torrent I'm downloading, and have been downloading for 3 days now, is PAL! :eeek: It says it's NTSC, but, apparently not, according to comments of those who've previously d/l. How can I convert this? Is there freeware? I have Nero Ultra 7, but I don't think it does this.

| Re: PAL to NTSC? Seriously? I just do the instructions as instructed in my request for instructions LOL on what to do with my Video_TS folder and set the output for NTSC and I'm all set? Wow. I'm not kidding, Nero was some of the best money I ever spent. Can I do the same with a non-copyrighted DVD that someone is sending me? How do I get the data from the DVD to my hard drive so Nero can deal with it?

| Re: PAL to NTSC? Any program that can decrypt a dvd to your hard drive can also handle non-encrypted disks. So you could use DVDDecrypter (for example) and put it on the hard drive. With a non-encrypted disk, you could also right click on the dvd drive in My Computer, hit Explore, then drag the video_ts folder to wherever you wanted on the hard drive. Just like moving data files. Good luck on the PAL to NTSC conversion by the way. Let us know how well Nero works for this. |

| Re: PAL to NTSC? I have been converting the Australian DVD from PAL to NTSC lately. It's a bit slow, about 3/4 real time. But, it has been doing a good job. I usually start a project before I go to bed. ![]() |

Are you using Nero? I have Nero 6 OEM and I've been unable to convert PAL to NTSC. | |

| Re: PAL to NTSC? LtTony...this discussion was from 2yrs ago. You may not get a reply from 0301orih. For PAL to NTSC you can try FAVC. It is now set up to handle dvds as input files. http://favcfavc.googlepages.com/ Just make sure to set output as NTSC. And use the HC encoder option for best results. |
