| A bit more info please. What have you converted it to ? (VCD/SVCD/DVD) and what software did you convert it with? (TMPGEnc/Nero/etc) Also, what is the Audio codec in the Xvid ? Check with GSPOT (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ )
