need a lil help on a vid

first off hiyas am new here but have viewed this forum many times,

my problem is as follows, i converted a divx to dvd, and about the first 40 mins is great then i get a video error, there are about 2.5 seconds of corrupt frames the audio wasnt mnessed up tho but because of the added blocky colored frames the audio goes the same distance out of sync thru the remainder of the film, i used dvd lab to demux the files to audio/video. i went into ulead and clipped up to the bad part, then clipped after it through the end and made it, and its all good, audio is sync'd right thru the whole movie but i lost some of the video quality, what can i use to go in and simply remove the 2.5 seconds of frames in the movie.mpv file so that i dont have to recompile the thing and loose quality? just wanna remove the 70 or so bad frames and leave the video alone if possible then i can throw em back into dvd lab and recompile the thing and all will be good, thanks in advance
