large AVI files to CD to play on DVD - Club CDFreaks

HI All

I came across this forum whiles looking for an answer to my problem and hopefully someone may be able to help me.

I edited a home wedding video into five avi files. Each file is 1-2gig in size at 720 x 576 resolution. What i want to do is compress the files to CD's so that I can play them on my dvd player.

What software do i need to do this and does anybody have a tutorial on how to do this.

You might want to check out the tutorials here:

Probably work towards VCD or SVCD....

Or,you could do a Google search for an
app called 'avi2vcd' which is pretty much
self-explanetory.
