| Re: Increasing Audio On DVD? Most decent video editing softwares have the ability to adjust the audio. You may need to demux before you can do this.

| Re: Increasing Audio On DVD? Demuxing means splitting the dvd (or other type of video) into separate audio and video streams. DVDLab Pro can definitely split a dvd into separate streams, in fact it prefers to have them that way. Lab Pro has some audio tools, a transcoder is included, but if it can adjust volume I haven't used it---haven't looked for it either. Lab Pro is an authoring tool, and not meant for doing much editing. You can adjust the volume of the audio in something like Audacity or Goldwave. Audacity is free, but you should check to make sure it can handle pcm .wav files. Make sure to have your output as 48kHz, not 44kHz, if you are going back to a dvd. |

| Re: Increasing Audio On DVD? I touched on this here http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.ph...6&postcount=38 I don't have time to work up a tutorial like you asked, but maybe someone else can help out. It's not that difficult once you understand what you are doing.

| Re: Increasing Audio On DVD? This is to complicated, first I have to download a new program. The convert the audio for it, the download another program just to convert the audio file back the way it was? I don't know if I want to do this, there's to many programs involved. I don't want to clutter my PC up with programs just to increase the audio on a dvd. There's got to be an easier way. |

| Re: Increasing Audio On DVD? I've been around for awhile, and I am unaware of any easier way. If you do find one, please let the rest of us know. Before you can learn to work with video, it helps to have a good understanding of terminology, and the processes that occur. It would help a bunch if you did some reading on the forums at www.videohelp.com There are a lot of step by step guides and tutorials there.

| Re: Increasing Audio On DVD? I didn't think it was a stupid post rolling...I just didn't know the answer since I don't use DVDFab Platinum. And I've learned not to stick my head out too far in these video encoding threads. A little bit of knowledge is just enough to get me in too deep. ![]() |
