Video Edit Software Discuss, how to remove a voice over at International Chat: Software related forum; Hi, can anyone help me out, i want to remove a voice over from a video, but i don't know how to do this? I mean i don't know which software does this and how to do it. Thanks in advance for any helpful reply

how to remove a voice over

Hi, can anyone help me out, i want to remove a voice over from a video, but i don't know how to do this? I mean i don't know which software does this and how to do it.

There is no easy way. You may be able to reduce it, if the track is stereo and if the desired audio is fully 'out to the sides' (not in the center very much) and if the voiceover is dead center. It's a lot of work and the results are hardly ever worth it, but you can use Audacity to do it. As to how to do it, you'll have to search for instructions.

I think the voice over will be on the side like you said, the reason why i've come to this conclution its because the video is in stereo and the voice over is clearly home made.

If i've followed you corretly, in Audacity i should be able to see all voice patherns?
