Video Edit Software Discuss, How Fast Should SmartRipper rip DVDs with A 16x DVD such as LITEON? at International Chat: Software related forum; My LiteON 16x rips at 6 to 13 most of the time. then sometimes peaks to 16+ but for a split second.. how fast should it be ripping? including or excluding the encryptions on dvd vobs?

how fast should it be ripping? including or excluding the encryptions on dvd vobs?

For an encrypted dual layer disc, 13x is pretty fast.

yeah, my pioneer 16x DVD rips with smartripper about that speed. remember, the closer the laser gets to the outside of the disc, the faster you will rip. but 6-13 is very good.
