| How to copy videos from DishNetwork PVR to computer HD I'd like some recommendations on the best way to record music videos from my DishNetwork harddrive to my computer harddrive and then to cdr. If you could give me step by step details and what software you'd recommend it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

| I've often wondered about these myself. Most of these devices run a form of Linux. I'm pretty sure you could go about getting the data off the drives much the same way you would on a Tivo box. From what I remember for a Tivo, you need a special boot floppy (and modified IDE cable?) to boot a computer that can see the contents of the Tivo drive, then transfer them to another drive.
