| How can I do...? hello, i have browsed some of the required newbie threads, so i hope ive posted in the right place, but i still wonder if maybe im in the wrong community. i am wanting to copy a commercial dvd though not the entire dvd. the dvd i will be working with is Def Leppard: Historia/In The Round In Your Face. this dvd has three 'programs' on it: historia, in the round, and a special features section. I am wanting to copy only the in the round in your face program. though i want my final copied disc to still have the interactive graphics and menu structure related to this specific program, but without the menu direction to the historia section, or special features. after the dvd initializes in the player. if there is no resume feature enabled, it automatically loads up the traditional recording studio video sequence, like the animations associated with Universal, Paramount Pictures, etc and the federal warning. then it goes to a graphic menu that allows me to choose a language. after the language, comes another menu of whether i watch historia, or in the round. then depending on the one i choose, it goes to another graphic menu that shows a selectable list of tracks in the program as well as a menu selection to choose the opposing program, i.e., choose in the round, and i have the option to choose historia. now my aim in the final copied disc is after the disc initializes, the first thing i see on the screen is the menu graphic screen for in the round in your face. i do not want a disc that just starts playing the in the round program, without any interactive menu display. and i also dont want any menu reference to the special features. so i would like to know how to get the desired result above, with the highest image and resolution quality, in a most compatible dvd-r medium? reccommended burning/editing-authoring software too of course? im sorry if i posted in the wrong forum. any help with this would be greatly appreciated. if you need any additional information or clarification, please let me know. email me at jrl2@hotmail.com thanks |

| Re: How can I do...? Hi and welcome at CD Freaks, If you just wanted to copy one part of your DVD then I would have said that CloneDVD2 or DVD Shrink in combination with AnyDVD is the right software for you, but if I understand this correctly then you will also modify the menu itself. In this case I would suggest you to try DvdReMake. You can get more information by clicking the previous link or in our Copy DVD Movie Forum here. (there you'll also find more information about Clone and AnyDVD)
