on-the-fly ripping? - Club CDFreaks

Does anyone know if there is a DVD ripper which encodes the movie into DivX or similar 'on-the-fly'? i.e. so the movie doesn't need to be copied to the hard drive first, it simply encodes it as it rips it.

Think even EZdivX copies the vob's to harddisk first!

All DVDtoDiVX software has to copy the full multiplexed mpeg-2(Vob) data first to hd.. there is no program who preformes these tasks 'on-the-fly'
