ENIGMA: DVD Workshop Hi, Am I in the right thread ? Make a long story short: Three of us have DVD Workshop. Theirs work just fine. I have a problem. When I import an avi file from Premier Pro which is more than 10 minutes, it will simply NOT load more than 9min 36 or 10min 34 sec. ! Impossible to run a 20 min clip ! I have reinstalled the program, oh what, 6-7 times now, Sometimes on my C drive sometimes on my D drive. No change, always the same ! We simply don't know what is going on ? I have in a nut shell: P4 Prescott 3 EG/800/1M/S478 Asus AGP Radeon 9250GE 256 Mo 200 hard disk Possible answers anyone ? Thank You.

| Re: ENIGMA: DVD Workshop Can only suggest that you check all Options/Settings/Preferences settings and see if you are limiting it somehow via the software. The only system limitation I am aware of is Hard Drive Space, and formatting, with possible Windows limits. Are you all running the same version of windows?

Re: ENIGMA: DVD Workshop harley2ride, To answer your question, yes we all use the same version of windows.(XP) Hard drive space and formatting: 20G on C, 2G free left; 180G on D, 150 G free left; 200G on G (external) The dvd workshop program is on C; When I import the file (say 6-13G) into the program, which is on C, do you mean that the file is temporarily tranfered to C ? If this is the case, it would explain the limitation, yes? Even if I install the dvd workshop program on D, do you mean the file STLL transfers to C for the operations it will accomplish, in the DVD workshop program ? Does this sound logical ?

Re: ENIGMA: DVD Workshop I guess the theory is wrong. Since my last post, On my second computer, I installed the program, connected my external disc, dropped the AVI file (30 minutes) and what happened ? The same thing! The program only accepts 9min and a few seconds! On this computer, I have 42G free space ! On this computer, it is the first time I have ever installed the program; it cannt be a question of retaining a memory of «a last shorter clip», it never had one here. A real frustrating mystery !

Re: ENIGMA: DVD Workshop YES! Thank You harley2ride for your effort! My friend found the answer! I feel so stupid... When the program was purchased, it was bought as a trial; therefore a patch MUST be installed for it to go BEYOND its limited scope of 10 minutes! Last year when I changed computer I did not install the program immediately...therefore...I forgot about that important detail !!! I kept reinstalling the trail version ! Without the patch! Everything, now works just fine ! Anyway, if this post can help someone else, be it so... Thank You.
