Hi,

I am cutting scenes from movies with the DVD2SVCD package (ver. 1.2.1 b3). At the DVD2AVI step I am selecting the scenes I want.

Once in a while I have a movie where I get the message:

"EFCreateError Cannot create file H:\DVD2AVI_Project_file.d2v"

I click OK, check the directory and the DVD2AVI_Project_file.d2v is located in the directory, but there seems to be something wrong with it. The program continues, but at the CCE step the message pops up:

"Frame rate 11988/625 is not supported. Supported frame rates are...."

CCE terminates/crashes and DVD2SVCD crashes as well.

Any idea what's going on?

You indicate your trying to select scenes from an AVI. I dont thing that feature of dvd2svcd works with avi's, only dvd vob files.

The error about DVD2AVI files, well dvd2avi CANNOT load in an AVI so will always error out. The file may have been made but will be of 0 kb length, hence CCE crashing.

Use VirtualDUB/NanDUB/VirtualDUBMod to select out and save the scenes you want from and AVI, then just encode them with dvd2svcd as usual.
