DVD to mpeg???? - Club CDFreaks

Hi:
I am having trouble getting good quality mpegs from my dvd camcorder to edit in Adobe premier. I can use the Adobe converter but it produces horrible results, nero vision produces better mpegs to edit, but creates
100+ mpegs for a 15min dvd.
Whats the best way to pull data off a dvd to bring into a video editor?

I'm using Nero 7, it works just fine, and never created such "big" result as you metioned. Perhaps, you can update to have a try again.
Btw, I also have winavi which does kinds of conversion pretty good too.

Nero is not a very highly recommended editing software! You need to find a good mpeg editing software, like Womble Mpeg editor. Check the tools section at www.videohelp.com, for other mpeg editing softwares.
