Video Edit Software Discuss, DVD to DVD-R. Why Resizing?? at International Chat: Software related forum; Hi! I have a doubt since some weeks ago? I'd like to know why you have to resize image when you use DVD2SVCD to backup a DVD. I think that there's no need to do it... Am I right??

Yes. In the Frameserver tab of DVD2SVCD you have to choose final resolution and the resizing method (Bilineal, bicubic...). If the final resolution is the same like in this case, you don't need to resize the image. Maybe it doesn't do anything when this occurs and don't care if you choose this or that resizing method but if it resizes it, it's a waste of time. I only wanted to know if in the DVD backing up process is important to choose a resizing method.

Thx
