| Dual language VCD... how to edit before uploading to Youtube ? I have a few VCD which is dual language (left and right channel). I don't think it's possible to play left or right channel in You Tube. For a VCD, how do I remove left or right channel and then (sorry, I don't know the proper term for the operation) replicate the remaining channel to the other side ? Thanks for your adivice. PS: The VCD does not have copy right. |

| Re: Dual language VCD... how to edit before uploading to Youtube ? Rip it with vcdgear. Demux it with tmpgenc (mpeg tools). Use any audio editor to depart channel left from right, make the one you want dual mono, then save. Mux it together by using tmpgenc.

What I come up with is to use: - ffmeg to demux with the command ffmpeg -i input.mpg -an -vcodec copy video.m1v ffmpeg -i input.mpg -vn -acodec copy audio.m2a - Audacity to split the stereo track to left/right, delete 1 track and make it mono - TMPGEnc to combine the mono track with the video Thanks again.
