divx to svcd problem

divx ---> svcd
i made a 42 minute video a while back and i want to convert it to svcd

specs of video
length - 42mins
codec - div3
frame rate - 29.97
vid bitrate - 292kb/s
audio bitrate - PCM wave 1411

i am using dvd2svcd

4 pass

when it starts encoding the mpv file it stops at 15%

anyone know why this could be?

CCE does not like Div3 encoded AVI's. Do you have the Convert Div3 to Div4... box ticked in the Misc Tab of DVD2SVCD ? If not do so. If its greyed out, use the FourCC program from the download section of Doom9.net to change the header from Div3 to Div4 and try again.

A;so overclocking your CPU and a non-defragged HD can also cause CCE to stop.

Then there is a problem with the DivX file itself. Run it through DivFix as it can many (not all) problems and fix them.

Also try ripping the audio out of the DivX first and using that audio as source in TMPGenc. The AVI to VCD tutorial tells you how to do that with TMPGEnc.
