If that's NOT the case (a simple install will tell you), then you can try running through one of the tutorials over on Doom9 on "finding and fixing glitches in AVI files with VirtualDub". | |

| Re: divx out of sync audio problem heh oops yah from the net, and installed the ac3 filter and nada no difference, guess i shoulda given a lil more info, its a divx avi, sound is mpeg3 64 bit its pal format at 25 fps, i can split them (audio/vid) but the first 25 mins of the movie are good then it slowly creeps out of sync, ive tried to repair with divfix but it finds no errors, i used some proggie i found called YAAI that allows you to modify the framerate of the movie as your watching it, and to just effect sections and it worked to fix it i had to change the last 20 mins of the thing to 24.995 and its good and in sync, but now i cant convert this to dvd hehe kinda worthless i guess, so any idea are appreciated. as for software im useing ive got tmpgenc express, dvd2svcd /w D2SRoBa, ffmeggui03c, besweetgui , virtuadubmod , sony vegas , canopus procoder 2,and dvd lab that i use mostly but am willing to try anything thatll fix this sync and lemme get this thing onto a dvd working. also checked on doom9 and found a way to supposedly fix it but it requires a file called synch.exe that noone seems to be able to find hehe |

| Re: divx out of sync audio problem Hi InZain, Since you got the sync thing sorted out, what I would suggest is that, 1.Process the files in Vdub and join the 2 segments by selecting not to "Process the Audio". 2. Take the file and then pass it into any Mpeg processor such as Tmpgenc and then reprocess the audio completely selecting 48000 hz (std. DVd audio freq.) and Video format of your choice. 3. In the Mpeg Processor, remember to select the "do not multiplex" option whcih will give you 2 files which you can add onto any DVD-authoring proggie of your choice. Hope this helps.
