Divx to DVD-R Problems - Club CDFreaks

I have been trying to convert divx to DVD using the 'How to convert your DivX's to DVD±R ' guide problem is when I try to open most of the in the conversion tab I get an error message saying 'couldn't locate decompressor for format xvid'. I know this codec is installed as G-Spot can find it.
Anyone any ideas?

Many people have reported this problem with the latest version of DVD2SVCD when trying to convert Xvids. I however have not seen the problems and regularly convert Xvids with no issues.

The solution others have found is to go back to an older version, like 1.1.1 b2 and then it works fine.

try to convert it with TMPGenc (xvid->mpeg2)

Installed older version and it works a treat, thanks for the assist guys
