[settled] DivX codec mismatch

It seems that since installing Nero v6.0.0.23 EVERY DivX movie is played using
this sh*t f*ckin' Nero codecs (DivX 5.0.4). Can anyone confirm this?
I don't get the original (5.1.1b2) running anymore (Unknown file format - DIVX)!

[EDIT]
Maybe I'm wrong and this codec came with WinDVD.
How can I fix this?
[/EDIT]

[EDIT2]
Hm... After installing v5.1 it worked again. Even v5.1.1b2 works fine now. Strange.
Sorry for any inconveniences.
[/EDIT2]

The simple soultion would be to NOT install Nero 6, it just seams to be screwing everyones system.

I am @ 6.0.0.19 with no problems in audio or video. I usually wait a few weeks before updating. Glad I did this time. Seems everyone is having problems with .23

The 5.0.4 codec gets installed every time I use WinDVD5.
I could circumvent this by manually unregistering divxdec.ax
(found in the WinDVD directory).
