Creating Photo CD/DVD with Chapters help! - Club CDFreaks

Im looking for software that will allow me to create photo CD's/DVD's with chapters so I can eailsy access from the main menu on the disc the pictures I want.

I've tried Nero which will only let me add up to 99 pictures and no chapters from what I can see. Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 will allow me to create chapters but only at specific photo intervals i.e. every 50 pictures. This is no good for me as each chapter would have a different number of pictures in it.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I was just in Nero Vision 4 (Make Photo-Slide DVD). I pasted 96 pictures and when I pasted the same 96 pictures again, I received the following message:

Unable to insert the pictures because the maximum number of 99 pictures in the slide show would be exceeded. Do you want the surplus pictures to be inserted into new slide show titles?

I said yes and I had two separate Titles. These titles will show up as separate menu selections when you burn the DVD and will appear as options when the DVD is inserted into the DVD player. My suspicion is that you could have thousands of pictures on the DVD but never more than 99 per title. If you keep them organized by title, I think you will accomplish what you want.

I don't know if this answers your question but I gave it my best shot.

Are you making slideshows?

I use proshow gold or pro to make a slideshow (as many photos as you like)
Save it as a movie file then (this is the good bit)
Get dvd composer, open your show in that and you can make as many chapters as you like and also as big or small as you like!!

I know what you mean and with this you can't go wrong...

Exactly what I wanted to be able to do ARTMAN. I'll look for this software and give it a shot. Let you know how it goes

Found Proshow Gold and DVDComposer so will have a go tomorrow after work. The people who made DVDComposer have released a new product, MemoriesOnTv. So going to try that too

Proshow Gold is an amazing piece of software. Very easy to use and has some spectacular zoom and pan effects which I love.
