| can i recompress video? i was wondering if i could recompress a video.... i have some ~450 megabyte videos that are about 42 minutes long anyways i was wondering if i could compress them to about half that size somehow sorry if this is a noob question... thx for ur help

| Sure you can! What is the source video in? If it is an AVI or Mpeg-1 file, you can just open it in VirtualDub and Re-encode at whatever bitrate you want. If it is an Mpeg-2 file, you could write an AVisynth script for use with VirtualDub. |
