Burning Videos onto a DVD

Hello all.
I have a real quick question about something I'm trying to do with videos I have downloaded. Well, I have yet download them, but what I'm going to try and do is download some concert footage and music videos off of Youtbe with a .FLV capture downloader and then put them onto a blank DVD and play them then on a DVD player. Of course, I'm going to convert the videos before hand, but what I need help with is knowing how to go about putting them on the DVD to where it will be compatible with his DVD player. I know it helps to know what DVD player he has, but I'm not exactly sure. I do know, though, that for sure he has a PS2 and Xbox360. THe reason I wish to do this is because he does not have internet available to him at his home. So, in a nut shell, I need to know how to put videos on a DVD to where it will be compatible with most DVD players. Wether it's a program or just a way to do it, please let me know. All suggestions are more than accepted. Thank you much.

As long as these are not copyrighted files, you are within forum rules. Once they are converted to a format that is dvd compatible you can use almost any dvd copy program to burn them to a dvd. I am sure if you google .flv file you will find a good conversion program. Then all you need is a free program like Imgburn to burn them to a DVD. Just make sure these are not copyrighted materials.
