Burning avi and mpegs to DVD

Hi all,

I am not sure where this should be either in the newbie section or here cause it's about burning vids.

Anyway Every time I try to burn about 4Gb worth of avi's and mpegs with Nero vision express 2 it works for about 30mins-1 hour then just stops the elapsed time keep going but the progress bar doesn’t do anything and total time never changes.

My burner is Liteon 851s. The computer specs are:
P4 2Ghz
768Mb of RAM
80Gb and 30Gb hard drive
OS: Windows XP

And I can't change it to DMA (Bloody XP) I have tried all but no luck

Cheers, in advance for the help

I am also trying to create an image first then burn it but it looks like that has stopped as well.
