| Backup of Pinnacle Studio 10 DVD disc I purchased the Pinnacle Studio Plus v10 as an upgrade to my v9. I am trying to backup the 3rd disc, which is a "Bonus DVD". I tried compiling a Nero (v7.x) Image and then burning to a Taiyo Yuden DVD-R for backup purposes. The data verificaton failed. Any suggestions for creating/burning a working image? I tried mounting the image with Daemon Tools 4, but the Studio installer didn't like it. How can I determine what copy protection, if any, is being used on the disc? TIA

| Re: Backup of Pinnacle Studio 10 DVD disc UPDATE The "Bonus DVD" was able to be installed by mounting the image via Daemon Tools. The installer hung up due to a known issue with InstallShield. For anyone experiencing issues with this, such as receiving any -600X error, you need to delete the following directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\Runtime. Specifically, the 0701 folder, but everything can be safely deleted. You'll first need to cancel the installation. The main Studio software itself will still install correctly. After deleting the directory, you can go back and kick off the DVD portion of the install by just inserting the disc and let it autorun (if enabled). If anyone can still clue me in on how to determine the copy protection used, I'd still like to know. Thanks!
