ATI 7500/Audigy2 setup - Club CDFreaks

Has anyone hooked the items of the title
together in a system AND was able to get a broadcast from Directv with sound and video intact on a resulting recording? Is it me or does this card record from TV (the Audigy2),cause each time I try to record from my Directv box,i get great picture but no sound although I get sound when I 'm recording the segment thru my PC speakers. Thanks to all who reply....

P.S.,all my settings are correct...i

I don't have direct tv in the mix, but, I've got an Audigy2 and a Radeon 7500 AIW hooked up to digital cable with no problems. For some odd reason I can't use the Aux In on the sound card anymore. I had to use the line in and use the minijack output of the video card into the line in on the audigy2. That seems to work just fine.
