tried out this proggy with and xvid and a divx film to convert the avi to mpeg2 dvd files
the quality turn out good which suprised me..
the xvid took 8hrs
the divx took 6.5 hours to convert

authored then burnt to dvdrw and played ok on the standalone

dont know how this compares to other methods of converting time wise but it sure is alot easier..

it also says it will convert vcd and svcd aint tried that yet

anyone else who has used it all comments and help with settings would be helpful

Yep I've tried it and un-installed it. Quality wise its no where near the quality of CCE. As for time, I convert most DivX and Xvid to DVD compliance in 2hr give or take 15min on my AMD 2600+ system.
